1. Who we are

Latam Strategic Partners is the public-facing brand operated by Julia Fleischeuer, a sole proprietor carrying on business under the registered Alberta trade name LATAM STRATEGIC CONSULTING, registration TN28169787. Our business is based in Strathmore, Alberta, Canada. “LSP”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that sole proprietorship.

These terms describe use of our website and our standard recruitment service. Submitting an enquiry does not create a paid engagement. Before work begins, the client and LSP agree the service scope and commercial terms in writing. The signed client agreement takes precedence for that engagement where it expressly differs from these website terms. Mandatory legal rights are not excluded.

2. Our services and delivery

We provide recruitment and candidate-introduction services for remote professionals in Latin America. The agreed scope may include role scoping, sourcing, screening, interview coordination and transition support. Services are delivered remotely through communications, interviews and candidate introductions; no physical goods are shipped.

Search schedules are estimates, affected by role requirements, candidate availability, client response times and notice periods. We do not guarantee a hire, start date, retention outcome, cost saving or business result. The replacement remedy is limited to the separate Cancellation, Refund & Replacement Policy.

Fees and client responsibilities

3. Placement fees and payment

Unless your signed agreement expressly provides otherwise, the client pays a one-time fee equal to 15% of the professional’s agreed first-year base salary or fixed contractor compensation, due on the first working day. For an ongoing engagement quoted monthly, the calculation is 15% × monthly fixed compensation × 12. Variable commissions, discretionary bonuses, equity and reimbursements are excluded. Short-term, part-time or project arrangements must have their calculation basis specified in writing before the search begins; no unagreed minimum fee applies.

Website examples are in US dollars (USD) and are indicative gross compensation targets. They are not guaranteed salary offers, net pay or comprehensive employer-cost quotations. Applicable taxes and separately agreed charges are disclosed on the proposal or invoice. There is no recurring agency fee or monthly salary markup under the standard placement service. Candidates are not charged an application or placement fee.

The client pays the professional separately. Client obligations may also include payroll-provider charges, statutory contributions, benefits, equipment and other engagement costs. Available payment methods and the billing currency appear on the invoice or checkout. Use only the payment instructions we provide; do not send full card details through email or contact forms. Payments through Stripe are processed by Stripe and the relevant payment providers. A client’s bank may apply currency conversion or other bank charges.

4. Client responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate role, compensation and business information; interview and select candidates lawfully; and protect candidate information. The client is responsible for the engagement contract, lawful worker classification, supervision, compensation, taxes, benefits, working conditions, equipment and any required payroll or employer-of-record arrangement. LSP does not become the professional’s employer or provide legal, immigration, payroll or tax advice through a placement alone.

Clients may use candidate information only to evaluate the agreed opportunity and manage an authorized engagement. They must not circulate profiles for unrelated purposes or contact referees or conduct sensitive checks without the required notice, consent or other lawful basis. Any candidate-introduction period or fee for a later hire must be expressly stated in the signed agreement.

5. Cancellation, refunds and replacement

Our Cancellation, Refund & Replacement Policy forms part of these standard terms. It describes cancellation before the start date, refunds of unearned placement fees, and one replacement search for a qualifying departure within 180 calendar days. The signed client agreement may expressly vary these terms; any variation must be disclosed before purchase. No policy removes a remedy that applicable law requires.
