Privacy Policy

Your information and our responsibilities
Who is responsible for your information?

Latam Strategic Partners is the brand operated under the Alberta trade name LATAM STRATEGIC CONSULTING, registration TN28169787. We are based in Canada. This policy covers personal information handled through our website, client enquiries, candidate applications and recruitment services.

For privacy questions, access or correction requests, withdrawal of consent, or complaints, contact us at hello@latamstrategicpartners.com or +1 403 708 0129. Please identify the request as a privacy matter. We may ask for proportionate identity verification before releasing personal information.

Information we collect

From clients and prospective clients, we collect contact details, company information, role requirements, hiring priorities, location, proposed working arrangements, correspondence and information needed to prepare an agreement or invoice.

From candidates, we collect the information supplied in an application, such as contact details, location, CV, professional history, qualifications, language skills, portfolio links, availability, compensation expectations and answers about role suitability. During an active recruitment process, we may record interview notes and obtain relevant references or verification information with appropriate notice and consent or another lawful basis. Please obtain permission before submitting another person’s private contact details. Do not include government identifiers, banking credentials, health records or other sensitive material in an initial application unless specifically requested through an appropriate process.

Our website and its providers may collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited and security logs. Cookies and similar technologies may support website operation, security, preferences and, where enabled with any required consent, analytics. Payment information is described below.

Why we use information
We use information reasonably needed to respond to enquiries, assess role requirements and candidate suitability, arrange interviews, facilitate agreed introductions, communicate about opportunities, administer services and payments, maintain relevant records, protect the website, investigate concerns and meet legal obligations.

We obtain consent where required and explain any additional purpose before using information for it. Submitting a form is not consent to unrelated marketing. You can decline optional marketing or unsubscribe from it without ending an existing recruitment engagement. Withdrawing information essential to a search may prevent us from continuing that part of the service; we will explain the consequences.
Sharing, providers and cookies
Candidate introductions and other disclosures
Candidate information is shared with prospective hiring clients for an identified recruitment purpose, with the candidate’s authorization or another applicable lawful basis. We share information relevant to evaluating and arranging the opportunity rather than an entire unrelated personal record. We do not contact a candidate’s current employer for a reference without specific permission.
Authorized personnel and service providers may access information needed for website hosting, form handling, communications, administration, recruitment support or payment processing. Professional advisers, authorities or other parties may receive information when required or permitted by law, to address a dispute, or to protect lawful rights. A hiring client or provider may separately control information it receives; its own privacy duties and policies also apply. We do not sell candidate CVs or client contact information.
Wix, payments and processing outside Canada
Our website uses Wix for hosting and website/form functionality. Information submitted through the website is processed through Wix’s infrastructure. When you pay through Stripe, Stripe and relevant financial partners process payment and transaction information under their own terms and privacy notices. LSP receives information needed to reconcile and support the transaction, such as payment status and billing details. Please use the provided payment page rather than sending card numbers by email or through a hiring form.
Information may be processed outside Canada by service providers and, with appropriate authorization, prospective hiring clients. This may include processing in the United States and other countries used by the relevant provider. Information in another country may be accessible to its courts, regulators or law-enforcement authorities under local law. We use contractual and organizational measures appropriate to the information and applicable law when arranging service-provider processing.
You may contact our Privacy Contact for our current provider-specific policies and practices, including processing countries and authorized purposes. Wix and Stripe describe their own processing practices in the Wix Privacy Policy and Stripe Privacy Policy.
Cookies and your choices
Essential cookies support functions such as website operation, security and form submission. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are enabled, they must be covered by the applicable notice and consent choices. You can manage cookies through your browser and any cookie preferences displayed on the website. Blocking essential cookies may affect some functions. Consent for optional tracking can be withdrawn through the available controls.
Security, retention and your rights
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the recruitment or business purpose for which it was collected, or for legal, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations. We consider whether an enquiry or search is active, whether a candidate wishes to remain in the talent pool, the age and relevance of the information, and applicable retention requirements. Information no longer needed is securely deleted or anonymized. You may ask to leave the talent pool or request deletion, subject to lawful retention obligations.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards proportionate to the sensitivity of the information and limit access to people who need it for authorized purposes. No website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Suspected privacy incidents are assessed and reported to regulators and affected individuals where required by applicable law.
Access, correction and other rights
You may request access to your personal information, ask for corrections, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or ask about deletion and other rights available under applicable law. Send your request to hello@latamstrategicpartners.com. We respond within applicable legal time limits, explain any lawful restriction, and provide information about available review or complaint options. We may withhold information where disclosure would improperly reveal another person’s information or another legal exception applies.
If we cannot resolve a privacy concern, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or another privacy authority with jurisdiction. Rights under other applicable laws, including those relevant to a candidate’s country, remain available where those laws apply.
Updates and external websites
We may update this policy to reflect changes in services, practices or legal obligations. The published version will identify its revision date, and we will give additional notice or obtain consent where required for a material change. External websites linked from our site have their own privacy practices.
