Role Overview
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Brand & Social Media Manager owns day-to-day brand consistency and social media execution. You plan content, write and edit copy, coordinate creative production, manage community interactions, and report on performance. You work with marketing and leadership to align the publishing calendar with business priorities.
What You'll Own

Plan and maintain the content calendar across the client’s agreed social channels

Write, edit, and adapt copy to the brand’s voice and each channel’s audience

Schedule and publish approved content with accurate links, tags, and formatting

Create briefs and coordinate with designers, video editors, and other creative specialists

Apply brand guidelines consistently across social content and campaign assets

Respond to comments and messages and escalate sensitive issues through agreed processes

Coordinate announcements and content priorities with marketing, product, and leadership

Monitor reach, engagement, click-through rates, and other agreed performance measures

Prepare clear performance reports and propose practical content improvements

Track relevant audience trends, platform changes, and competitor activity

Organize content assets, approval workflows, and reusable brand templates

Use AI tools responsibly for research and drafting, checking accuracy, originality, and brand fit
Requirements

Degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience supported by a strong portfolio

4+ years of relevant experience in social media, content, or brand management
-
Professional fluency in English and Portuguese and/or Spanish, written and spoken

Portfolio showing consistent brand voice, social campaigns, and measurable outcomes

Ability to manage content calendars, creative briefs, approvals, and deadlines
-
Strong English copywriting, editing, and audience-adaptation skills
-
Experience with social publishing and analytics tools, plus collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, or Asana

Reliable internet, a professional remote setup, and strong communication and documentation habits
-
Availability for an agreed schedule with overlap with the client’s North American working hours

Experience at a high-growth startup or scale-up environment

Experience with B2B brands, founder-led content, or North American audiences

SALARY
Target: USD 3,000/month
Understanding your compensation
Compensation varies by experience, responsibilities, and the client’s requirements. A contractor’s gross fee is different from an employee’s take-home salary and benefits. Compare the full package, including taxes, paid time off, insurance, equipment, and payment fees, before accepting an opportunity.
What an LSP placement pays
Our target for this role is USD 3,000 per month, or USD 36,000 per year, before your taxes and any applicable payment fees. Final compensation and benefits are agreed directly with the client and depend on experience and scope. Joining the talent pool does not guarantee a placement or a specific offer.
HOW DO YOU GET PAID
You work as an independent contractor, with a contract directly between you and the company. You invoice for your work monthly (a nota fiscal or its local equivalent), and get paid in USD via Deel or Wise, No intermediary, no agency cut.
