Remote Jobs

Is this you?

WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE

You see the full picture — and you love filling the gaps between strategy and execution. You thrive in ambiguity, move fast without losing precision, and make the people around you more effective just by being in the room. You don't need the spotlight. You're the reason others can stand in it.

You communicate fluently in English and Spanish (or Portuguese), you understand how North American businesses think, and you bring the cross-cultural intelligence that makes remote partnerships actually work.

Role Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Chief of Staff is a high-trust, high-impact partner to a founder or senior executive. You bridge vision and execution: managing priorities, leading cross-functional initiatives, and keeping the organization aligned while the executive focuses on what only they can do. This is not a support role — it's a strategic one.

What You'll Own

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO or founder, helping translate long-term vision into near-term priorities and organizational alignment

  • Own the executive's time and focus — manage calendar, meetings, travel, and communications to protect bandwidth for high-leverage decisions

  • Prepare executive briefings, board materials, investor updates, and strategic presentations with clarity and precision

  • Lead cross-functional projects and special initiatives end-to-end, from scoping through delivery, on behalf of the executive

  • Facilitate leadership team meetings: set agendas, capture key decisions, and hold the organization accountable to follow-through

  • Track company-wide OKRs and KPIs, flagging risks early and coordinating corrective action across departments

  • Act as a communication bridge between the executive and internal teams, board members, investors, and external stakeholders

  • Identify process gaps, design solutions, and implement the operating rhythms that keep a fast-growing company aligned and moving

  • Manage a pipeline of incoming requests and priorities — triaging what needs the executive's attention vs. what can be delegated or handled directly

  • Represent the executive in meetings, calls, and external engagements when appropriate

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and team-building efforts as the organization scales

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest standards of discretion and professionalism

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting, business administration, or executive support

  • Bilingual or trilingual: professional fluency in English + Spanish and/or Portuguese — written and spoken — is required

  • Demonstrated experience working directly with C-suite or senior leadership

  • Strong project management skills — comfortable owning initiatives from scoping to delivery

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, including executive-level documentation and presentations

  • High proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, Asana, or similar)

  • Remote-ready: stable high-speed internet, professional home setup, and the self-discipline for async work

  • Available to work within North American time zones (EST to PST overlap)

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a high-growth startup or scale-up environment

  • Background in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy

  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI, etc.)

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential

  • Exposure to investor relations, fundraising processes, or board management

  • Experience working in cross-cultural or international team environments

Cross-Cultural Edge

Your bilingual fluency and cross-cultural intelligence aren't a bonus here — they're the core of the value you bring. The companies that hire through LSP choose us precisely because of that edge.

What working with LSP pays

SALARY

USD 6,000.00/month

What the LATAM market pays for this role

A senior Chief of Staff across Latin America's formal job market typically takes home the equivalent of around $3,500 USD/month — after local taxes and deductions, and paid in a local currency exposed to inflation and exchange-rate swings. It's a strong salary by local standards. But it's capped by local market ceilings and quietly eroded by the currency it's paid in.

What an LSP placement pays

Through LSP, a placed Chief of Staff earns $6,000 USD/month — a single, clear figure, paid in U.S. dollars, as an independent contractor. That's roughly double the local take-home for the same role, in a hard currency that holds its value, year after year. You're not being paid "a LATAM rate." You're being paid for the value you create.

HOW DO YOU GET PAID

You work as an independent contractor, with a contract directly between you and the company. You invoice for your work monthly (a nota fiscal or its local equivalent), and get paid in USD via Deel or Wise, No intermediary, no agency cut.
